1971 C10 swb stepside. Purchased it in June of 1992 and started a resto. In 5 months he did a body off resto, many late nights. (Just ask the wife) Drove it daily since Nov. 1992 putting on another 100k+ miles on top of 129k+ that it had. It has a rebuilt 350 with mild upgrades and a 700R4 with 3.73 posi. Lowered it 2" and 3" with springs and shocks. Rides on 15"+8" GM truck rally wheels with P255/70R15 all around. Truck and rims are painted Chevy truck red/orange. Grille is 1970. Currently showing rust through the usual areas and working towards one more resto with a new look. (4" chop)

69 C20 4x4 The truck has a 307 anemic engine, Rockwell T-221 transfer case, Dana 44 closed knuckle front axle and an Eaton rear axle with a Detroit locker. He installed 4" front Tuff Country springs with heavy duty shackles and greasable bushings from Offroad Design, www.offroaddesign.com. The rear lift is ORD's shackle flipbracket. He is also using greasable bushings on the rear springs. He is running 35x12.50x16 Super Swamper SSR's and says that they are great. If anyone is interested they can check out his website at http://www.j0ker.org/~yukon/ for pics of the install

72 c10 LWB 4 drop courtesy of Early Classic Enterprises. It is his daily driver. As of now it has a 350 combo [350/th350 i think he means]with plans of a 700R4 hopefully real soon.(It is on an engine stand awaiting installation). He will be converting it to serpentine belt and changing to one wire altenator, adding AC,and he hopes more stereo sometime.Plans are for dark blue paint, grey tweed interior(done and in storage) and he is hoping to someday have air bags. This truck was all original when he purchased it. It had 86,000 mile on it and all the original paper work in the glovebox. He is the 3rd owner. He states, " I drive it everywhere!"

'69 G.M.C. short fleet that had seen MUCH better days, and had a slipping transmission This poor old thing was sitting behind a trailer in a park for 2 years being used as a storage shed. The bed was full of junk and garbage, and the cab was literally filled to the roof with crap that the previous owner couldn't sell at a yard sale he just had. It was both sad, and sick
|
When the owner purchased this truck on the 12th of April, 1998 he had to drag it home due to the fact that the transmission was in the bed with the bellhousing cut off of the case. After a freshly rebuilt TH350, a fuel pump, a set of plug wires, and a new battery, he was on the road with a truck that had alot of people asking questionsConsidering that it has almost 300,000 miles on it, it's a fairly clean and original example of a truck that has been all but forgotten
